He served on the City of Dallas Community & Development Commission from 2009 to 2013, the Sixth Floor Museum board from 2011 to 2015, and the Bishop Arts Cultural Center board from 2014 to 2016. As a councilmember, I can tell you that he was instrumental in helping guide the process that has resulted in positive changes in District 6.I was proud of the Mayor when he stood up against Trump’s travel ban.

Having the Northwest Division of the Dallas Police Department across the street from that station is key to the safety input it will have as well.I am proud to have recommended and received support from Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Adam Medrano and Councilmember Jennifer Gates to create the Bachman Lake Task Force consisting of 6 community members (two from each council district) and 4 city staff members that represent the departments involved around Bachman Lake.
