As they stated above installation has a lot to do with it iand it is true that a lot of the components are made in the same factory. All I can say is I have only ever had 2 problems with it; the CleanEffects electronic air filter died about 2 years ago and they replaced it under warranty, no questions asked and no charge to me, and then last year during servicing they noticed the cap on the outside unit was bulging and near failure, which was also replaced under warranty.
