"Sunshine of Your Love" is a 1967 song by the British rock band Cream. But in early October, Shatner, to the accompaniment of some stellar studio musicians, is doing just that on a release called “The Blues” (Cleopatra Records). Recording engineer Tom Dowd suggested the rhythm arrangement in which drummer Ginger Baker plays a distinctive tom-tom drumrhyt… Among the 14 tracks covered on the album are three Cream standards: Sunshine Of Your Love, Born Under A Bad Sign and Crossroads.
