DMX, Nas and Method Man will stop at nothing for money, power and respect in this gritty street drama directed by Hype Williams. If you like movies like New Jack City, King of New York and Paid in Full then you will like this as well.
That is a great scene because of the changes and growth that had occurred. For a dose of reality, I would definitely recommend this film. Although some of the acting was little 'shaky' in parts it in no way detracted from the central theme of the deadly sin of greed leading to self destruction and - via some clever twists and turns - eventually to redemption and salvation - oh and a copious amount of high octane violence in between.

I found it to be one of the better urban movies to come out in the 90's not better then boyz n da hood or menace II society.
