Keep chasing that train and in the profound words of Bob Dylan "May you always stay forever young." What did I just watch, why make a film of the same theme again, that has been done way too many times.

That would be the alternate ending I would choose for this movie. Peter Pan has many other versions that have been done so much, I look at these people who spend all this money - Film Studios and wonder why they do it. Greetings again from the darkness. Story that has been redone a thousand times and this one did nothing for me Can't come to us? When Peter speaks, it’s hard to make out what he’s saying — and that’s despite the fact the exuberantly folksy score (which Zeitlin co-wrote with “Beasts” collaborator Dan Romer) isn’t mixed quite so loudly this time around.From the beginning, Barrie recognized both the allure and the danger of Peter’s forever-young arrangement, and “Wendy’s” precocious young heroine senses that paradox as well. Hollywood knows it will get younger people - who are not aware, no fault to them and many others who will spend money on this stuff.
I wanted to choke the life out of Peter Pan. The plot, which was stitched together by a loose kind of logic to begin with, starts to unravel after the children go swimming with this glow-fish. Wendy Review: Lost on a mysterious island where aging and time have come unglued, Wendy must fight to save her family, her freedom, and the joyous spirit of youth from the deadly peril of growing up. In my opinion it's gives fresh (good) look to the story. The acting of the kids is superbly done and I think conveys the storyline and message the director is going for.
That chicken-fried, “Little Miss Sunshine”-esque crowd-pleaser plays like something the newly rebranded Searchlight Pictures might have made in its heyday, whereas “Wendy” (which Zeitlin scripted with his younger sister Eliza) will prove a trickier prospect for the now-Disney-owned specialty division to market.

Rotten Tomatoes shows the critics were right, but people gave this a 75 %, the cast was great and the filming was very good, it would have been great to see an original idea, my rating is based on the cast and crew effort as well as the location shoots.

Very bad cinematography. 19 out of 39 found this helpful. “Growing up is a great adventure,” the movie offers, after making it seem like quite a drag. Not sure why this movie was made.
They had no appeal. Actually, Zeitlin’s reference point is once again Emir Kusturica, with his child’s-eye view of reality, which transforms grubby, run-down locations into fantastical palaces of tetanus-shot splendor.
