I don't see the point.This was the final Hammer film that Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing would make together. Peter Cushing really does this one justice. Not the last Hammer Dracula, just the last with Lee Your Ticket Confirmation # is located under the header in your email that reads "Your Ticket Reservation Details". The Count seeks to avenge his dead servant, by making the trio die in the hands of their own children. The Echo Bridge Home Entertainment DVD Edition is uncut with reasonably good picture quality - about the best out there as I understand it. Chris Lee Peter Cushing a strong British support crew. Also, Hammer shows more skin in this particular Dracula movie, which I remember making it quite popular at the drive-in theaters. The Satanic Rites of Dracula is a 1973 horror film directed by Alan Gibson and produced by Hammer Film Productions.It is the eighth film in Hammer's Dracula series, and the seventh and final one to feature Christopher Lee as Dracula.The film was also the third to unite Peter Cushing as Van Helsing with Lee, following Dracula (1958) and Dracula A.D. 1972 (1972). Guess where Drac ends up near the end? Good story not the best hammer film but still watchable

For me, one of it's major strengths is that Dracula remains implied rather than seen until the last third of the film. Or is it just that sunlight and the old stake are boring now, and the writers just make these things up? Murray awakes in the cellar and escapes the clutches of Chin Yang, revealed to be a vampire herself. Instead, we view the sinister workings of his organization and it's minions. If you like those old Hammer films, than you should enjoy this one too. First released in the US in slightly edited form as "Count Dracula and His Vampire Bride", though why anyone should think that was a better title than the original is a complete mystery. If the image above has two photos in it that is how it will arrive as one photograph.
As a Dracula film, this is rather sad and misguided and very typical of the late Hammer fare. Dracula attacks Van Helsing, but his prey escapes through a window into the woods. Dracula, Prince of Darkness introduced clear running water, as used at the end of DPOD, in Dracula AD 1972, and in Satanic Rites. Baron Frankenstein escapes from the guillotine and goes to Germany.

Cushing delivers his usual excellent performance as Van Helsing and pretty much carries the film. Keeley's research notes lead Van Helsing to the reclusive property developer D. D. Denham, who funded Keeley's research.
Van Helsing visits Denham in his headquarters (built on the church yard where Dracula died in the previous film) and discovers that he is actually Count Dracula. Good story line, but still not one to share with the kiddies because of the nudity. First off the stream version on Amazon is excellent,it is probably The Anchor Bay version which is the only one worth buying (it is expensive and hard to find).Because the film is in the public domain many people have transferred and sold it ,it is on a lot of other DVDs.Now the movie is great,some people don’t like it because it isn’t a classical horror Dracula type of film.Like a few other of the Hammer series it feels like someon added Dracula to a script to sell it.But it works here especially with Peter Cushing as Van Helsing ,he makes this film.It is sort of a sequel to Dracula 1972 A.D. ,Van Helsing has a granddaughter,the old church from it is now a finished office building for Dracula and we get the standard how to kill a vampire with some new ones added in.But then it has aspects of the novel’ The Devil Rides Out”, “I am Legend “ and James Bond films.Some people complain it it a slow burn but there are many action sequences and blood.Excellent filming and production,way better than Dracula 1972 A.D.You don’t get a How did Dracula come back explanation,he just shows up,other than the what happened for 2 years to get here,the storyline is fairly good.

Cushing delivers his usual excellent performance as Van Helsing and pretty much carries the film. The film, if you`re waiting to see a lot of Dracula will be a bit of a let down (but let`s face it, since Taste the Blood of Dracula, I don`t think Christopher Lee has had 30 minutes screen time with all of the Dracula films joined together.)
