I have heard of them flowering but never heard of two flowers on a single plant.my african mask 'poly' started blooming after a couple of years, but it was a pretty large plant to begin with, probably 2-3yrs old when i got it.I live in Buffalo NY and noticed 3 white flowers on my elephant ear. On one of the plants, I had to carefully remove the covering and on another, I broke the flower thinking the covering was a stuck leaf.The flowers aren’t showy but I’m thrilled to have them. In the picture below you can see the streams of water running down the leaf.I water my elephant ears liberally once or twice a day. I think that once people caught onto just how dangerous that plant can be, I've seen a serious decrease in their popularity.

But we moved into a new house and we are covered in various ants and other insects in front yard and back, and previous owners have had termite or carpenter ant problems before... We tried isolated granular ant killer but it has barely made a dent so we had to spray:/ These little guys are crawling all over everything though...including our furniture and grill :/. Alocasia macrorrhizos looks very close!
