Garbage even by Eurotrash standards. Seriously.Oh, lord. Terrible everything else aside, I felt strangely compelled by how odd every second of this film is.Awful, yes. Bruno Mattei: L'ultimo artigiano (in Italian). This colony run by a very cruel woman who practice torture, murder, torture, humiliation.... He makes Joe D'Amato look like Antonioni, Jess Franco like Fellini.

This appears to be shot on video and everything seems to have that rushed feel to it, but regardless, I have not seen any modern film try to harken back to the cannibal heyday. Mattei continued work as a director until his death in 2007. I just don't get it. Mondo Cannibal is, as every review here can attest, a rotten and high-strung plagiarism of Cannibal Holocaust.
